Remote Support is now available - especially for those with a tight schedule, or those that don't have a few hours to devote to resolving computer problems.

I have started a pilot support program for Broadband and DSL subscribers, simply called: OTECH-CONNECT.

With this service, troubleshooting can be done at your leisure. Unless offered at no charge, billable times are in 15 minute increments after your first 30 minutes, so you'll never get less than your moneys worth.

There is nothing to install.  You only need a java-enabled web browser, this URL, and we'll be on our way.

OTECH-CONNECT's remote support application uses an SSL-like asymmetric key protocol to establish the session and uses 448-bit symmetric key encryption to secure all data, providing a significant leap over traditional 128-bit or even 256-bit encryption.

Linux, MacOS, All Windows (9x, 2k, XP, 2k3, 7) versions are supported!

How OTECH-CONNECT WORKS:

By merely browsing to a certain page on our site, a technician can remotely control your computer, negating the costs of a house-call.

The page that you visit, will utilize your Java-enabled web browser (IE, FireFox, Chrome) to initiate communication with OTECHCOMPUTING.   This is a huge time saver, as it eliminates the need for those users that have Routers - to need to re-configure them.

Once connected, sit back and enjoy the show.   The mouse will be moving on its own and I will be in control.

You will be prompted to Accept a "User Agreement" of sorts.

Please read it and choose either "Accept" or "Reject". "Accept" will put you into the Queue, "Reject" will cancel the support session.
