Pros:

  • Execellent roaming range for streaming media
  • Backward compatible with 54MB (g) & 11MB (b) adapters
  • Simple look, slick.
  • 7 pre-positioned internal antennas
Cons:
  • No WDS / Bridging support; is planned for a future firmware

RangeMAX™ Next WN511T PCMCIA Card

Pros:

  • Backward compatible with b/g wireless Routers/APs
  • New firmware makes it much more stable
Cons:
  • Gets warm when it can't get a signal
  • Still in test

RangeMAX™ Next WN311T PCI Card

Pros:

  • Installed and was online within 5 minutes
  • Wall mountable antenna
  • Still in test
Cons:
  • Required removal of card for software update
  • Firmware still shaky
  • No lights to determine signal / usage
  • Still in test

RangeMAX™ Next WN121T USB Adapter

Pros:

  • Installed without incident
  • Newer firmware fixes many issues
  • Still in test
Cons:
  • BRIGHT! blue light
  • Stand not too sturdy
  • Still in test
